Hero’s
Some say thanks
Others have turned away,
The respective one
Showing compassion
For a stolen youth.
They make the men that today are marked.
Racked with torment, fear, and guilt.
These men are lost On those of us left to Play on the stage of life.
These men are people forgotten.
Left to deal with demons.
They still leave the safety of home.
They come to stand and say I will come.
I will stand.
I will be the voice for them who cannot.
These are the strong in heart and mind.
They long to be able to find
A place to call home.
They are the valiant!
They are the brave among us.
They walk on fire.
They protect home.
They are the very best and brightest
That as a nation we have to give.
They are the ones given trust.
Held to a higher law.
These give passion and voice
To Lady Liberty!
Freedom! Freedom! Freedom!
Freedom the cry of him we call
SOLDIER
To them we call;
From ten; they answer each and everytime.
