Downside


There seems to be the hope of all 
that opens the heart 
 gives voice to the ups and downs.
The things that make up life,
Experience is the things that give opportunities.
Good or bad; but here and now. 
Ready to be lived in That is key. 
One reacts to the opportunity 
While another is given a test that is judged.
So… The downside is not a downside.
There are only decisions, reactions
Opportunities to give away to visions.
Visions of what we want to really be!
The downside
Only brings a negative light to the event.
Taking on the bad attributes
 to make one believe that all is lost.
Filtering the false narrative 
that the desired outcome 
cannot come to fruition!
The downside
It is a state of mind.
It is brought only to the front by the voice of those that would tear one down.
What works for one may not work for another.
Remember, that the experience is good!
Experience brings to pass growth;
Growth takes on the light and life of all 
on its own.
So… Live in the moment.
In that moment there are decisions to be made
Decisions that are better than others.
There are opportunities given that lead to greater opportunities.
In these we can find things that make one happy.
So… The downside…
The downside is a lie
The downside is forcing men 
to realize that they cannot progress 
more than one requires.
The downside to mine is found only in focusing on the things that come out of order.
Where there is no faith
The downside
Is the play of the selfish.
The downside
Is given only by the weakened heart.
It is important that this light and the hope 
that is needed to focus
 is given to all 
to be followed and those that have it to lead others.
Be aware!
Failure is not an option.
The downside
Will never take over the heart and soul!
If allowed the downside 
will tear the very fabric of a man
to be aware of apathy.
The downside will bring a smile to only frown
The downside offers nothing to Man
Only to lie and cheat and steal
The future of what man can become
Is found when the downside is turned around
That is the experience
 the decisions
The opportunity
Ultimately it is the color of a life well lived

Often times I let my mind linger in the weeds. Listen  Sit back and you will hear the sounds of people running here and there.  All are caught up with worldly lives Forgetting what matters most Yet, All around the sounds are very clear, Clarity is the voice of peace.  Trust opens doors that  were shut And opens communication that calls on all those fighting to cease. Too often conflict arises due to misunderstanding.  To tell  a different story.  Reaction causes one another to lash out. In turn giving way to deception and fear.  the effort of peace and trust is lost. Leaving one to hope for cooler heads to prevail. Then once again to start down the road hoping to achieve some unity.

Learn From Opportunity

It is easy to find the answer when one is on the outside looking in. It is easy to be aware when not affected by outcomes. Somethings are easier left unsaid when not caught up in the emotions and fear of consequence.  It is easy to walk in the trail that others have carved. The life not lived is easy to find fault of. In the moment when decisions must be made it is easy to do what others might expect.  Now is the time to act, not to be acted upon. Be that person who looks on the heart of a man, take the opportunity to walk in his shoes. Seek to be the trailblazer rather than the vast many stuck in the ruts of life struggling to see a way out of the pain of history's mistakes.
