Goals

How do I make hopes and dreams come alive?
I am lost in a sea of distraction. 
I need a path lit for me. 
How do I make my way through? 
How do I do all I'm supposed to?
I have all these hopes and a lot of things I want to do.
To accomplish it all on my own is a task that seems so tough.
Then I look inside my heart; 
I need to write it all down, map out where I want to go seek out the different options
and learn all there is to know.
 I'm going to make people see all I really could be and I'm going to start with a hope,
a dream, a desire.... call it what you will I must act and bring my heart to the world. 
Only with a plan in place will I be able to win the race and find my way, 
I have to.... write it all down show others I have what it takes to make fantasy become reality. 
Just watch me now, this is how to go and it begins by writing it down! 
Devise a plan, map it step-by-step! 
What is it going to take? Where will my actions lead? 
It is all up to me!

Often times I let my mind linger in the weeds. Lost in a pasture of things that don't really matter.  The things that need my time; The heart, the promise of peace, the joy that comes from a new born babies cry. The sadness of leaving behind the love of a lifetime to but start another adventure.  The things that tie us down and require something of us these are the things that matter the least. They are time drains. In these times the power is given to avoid.  All of these are but experience. Things that let us know that we are alive. Things that whisper that only life can bring. Now is the time to climb out of the weeds and focus on the heart and the simple things prepared for man.

Listen  Sit back and you will hear the sounds of people running here and there.  All are caught up with worldly lives Forgetting what matters most Yet, All around the sounds are very clear, Clarity is the voice of peace.  Trust opens doors that  were shut And opens communication that calls on all those fighting to cease. Too often conflict arises due to misunderstanding.  To tell  a different story.  Reaction causes one another to lash out. In turn giving way to deception and fear.  the effort of peace and trust is lost. Leaving one to hope for cooler heads to prevail. Then once again to start down the road hoping to achieve some unity.

Learn From Opportunity

It is easy to find the answer when one is on the outside looking in. It is easy to be aware when not affected by outcomes. Somethings are easier left unsaid when not caught up in the emotions and fear of consequence.  It is easy to walk in the trail that others have carved. The life not lived is easy to find fault of. In the moment when decisions must be made it is easy to do what others might expect.  Now is the time to act, not to be acted upon. Be that person who looks on the heart of a man, take the opportunity to walk in his shoes. Seek to be the trailblazer rather than the vast many stuck in the ruts of life struggling to see a way out of the pain of history's mistakes.
