Accountability

The power of the one 
They assign responsibility when gone
When things fall through the cracks they standby and blame you. 
It is human nature to point the finger of scorn and run. 
Just remember this when the point of blame is borne:
Three fingers are always pointing back when it is decided that it is time to cast shame.
How perfect the man who stands and listens as they all slander his good name.
One who takes all that they say. 
He never reacts and never backs down.
He stands at his post and weathers the stormy rain. 


He knows that it can't last too long. He is always learning to be the better. For one day not far distant the same who pointed and made fun will also have his own storm to weather. That will show the character of the youth and the man he must become.

Often times I let my mind linger in the weeds. Lost in a pasture of things that don't really matter.  The things that need my time; The heart, the promise of peace, the joy that comes from a new born babies cry. The sadness of leaving behind the love of a lifetime to but start another adventure.  The things that tie us down and require something of us these are the things that matter the least. They are time drains. In these times the power is given to avoid.  All of these are but experience. Things that let us know that we are alive. Things that whisper that only life can bring. In these the simple things do we find the things that matter most!  Now is the time to build relationships. Now is the time to answer the call. Now is the time to climb out of the weeds and focus on the heart and the simple things prepared for man.

Listen  Sit back and you will hear the sounds of people running here and there.  All are caught up with worldly lives Forgetting what matters most Yet, All around the sounds are very clear, Clarity is the voice of peace.  Trust opens doors that  were shut And opens communication that calls on all those fighting to cease. Too often conflict arises due to misunderstanding.  To tell  a different story.  Reaction causes one another to lash out. In turn giving way to deception and fear.  the effort of peace and trust is lost. Leaving one to hope for cooler heads to prevail. Then once again to start down the road hoping to achieve some unity.

Learn From Opportunity

It is easy to find the answer when one is on the outside looking in. It is easy to be aware when not affected by outcomes. Somethings are easier left unsaid when not caught up in the emotions and fear of consequence.  It is easy to walk in the trail that others have carved. The life not lived is easy to find fault of. In the moment when decisions must be made it is easy to do what others might expect.  Now is the time to act, not to be acted upon. Be that person who looks on the heart of a man, take the opportunity to walk in his shoes. Seek to be the trailblazer rather than the vast many stuck in the ruts of life struggling to see a way out of the pain of history's mistakes.
