Finding A Voice

All to often life has a way of pulling punches. Jabs and uppercuts to sideline the pure and honest in heart. They come at a time when it seems easier to stay in one place. The trials sway the man from right to left as each blow comes along. Each one with more force than the first.  During these times of struggle the reaction may be to turn away and side step the blow. One must face the menace with tenacity and grit. Remain on defense and await that one moment when with a crushing blow you connect. Allowing to put all the confusion and tears into perspective.  When meeting each trial with focus and determination the offensive that once seemed unmanageable will be cut down. The hope of something more; the brighter light at the end is within reach and power will accompany the once darkened road of opportunity that seemed lost.

In the quiet times I can feel the simple direction. Little whispers to guide my way. Those simple thoughts provoke action that inspires others to be better. The whispers bless lives daily to find success Others comfort those in distress. No matter the time of day, the whispers guide us home! They protect the heart so we need never feel alone. They speak softly yet clearly  the direction toward our common goal. That  of hope Peace and security!

When I leave home, I'm never alone. I feel the spirit close. He guides my way throught out the day. When I need a helping hand, I turn to him, and with his help I form a plan. I'm never alone even when I've strayed. The Father is always near, He never turns me away! He is there for all who seek him. He is there when the day is long. He is there to welcome you home with a smile. He knows exactly what is needed. I need never think that I am alone!

Weakness is found in those who sit. They watch from the side and never jump in. They have so much to say, so much to give, yet still they sit, in the darkness, silent to those who guide the ship! There are those who have much to give Those that taste success; as they serve These stand tall and strong! They stand out and offer another way than the muddled masses that are lost in selfish, destructive desires! The strong guide others to be. To see, that there is so much more for you and me. Stand Up! Be that guide! Drive the darkness away . Taste success and be the lead! Give others teh oppertunity to hear the voice of your heart. That will change the acts of many. They to will stand up and share. All because of your light, that YOU, were willing to share! Ken Cheney 9-20-2013  

I can see the things I am to do. I must lead others to be true. I must share what is right and help with all my might! The road is full of bumps and cracks, They are easy to fall in if I hold back! Everyday there is a simple test you see, There is but one question that can only be answered by me. Have I helped others be a little bit better? Have I encouraged another to hold to the rod to that beautiful tree? It truly fills us with the light of Christ. Yes, it fills you and me !

The Light Walking in the light brings happiness and joy . Holding close to those we love shares our light! The hope of times long past and the powers of heaven guide the hearts of men to dream and seek the better half and be  The choice people of the LORD!

A flower was planted in a special place, The flower the fruit of something so small. The beauty so exquisite, healthy and vibrant were the color of its petals.  Everyone who saw this tender flower agreed this was the best of the field. It was placed in the best plot of ground. It was nurtured with all it needed the fruit was amazing! A farmer saw the flower and wanted it for himself. He thought to give it to his wife. He handled it with such great care taking some of the best soil that surrounded it. He potted the plant to take to his wife. The flower needed a little extra care. The farmer was not aware. The little flower started to lose it's luster and soon the beauty was slipping away. Bye and bye the days came and went the Farmer's wife realized that she could not give the plant what it needed and was done caring for the once beautiful flower.
